Hethersett local updates – March 2023

Dear residents,

We are back with some exciting local updates in and around Hethersett.

There is an exciting monthly Farmer’s Market at the Hethersett Village Hall. From 9-5pm, why not come visit and see what’s on offer from local suppliers? The next one will be on the 16th April 2023. The Hethersett post office has been relocated within the Hethersett Library, offering many services for the community. Outside you will also find the new Beryl Bike Hire bay, why not hop on one and take a ride out around the village and surrounding areas?

-There is now a new place of worship on Henstead Road, on top of the one at Great Melton Road.

To celebrate the coronation of King Charles III, there will be a community picnic to provide residents of Hethersett an opportunity to come together during the extended weekend celebrations. An ice cream/ crepe vendor, a bar selling craft refreshments, facepainting, a marquee and more entertainment will be held at the Hethersett Village Hall and field adjacent to the building.
