Bus Survey 2022

Thank you to the residents of Hethersett who has taken their time to complete our recent bus survey.

The Smarter Travel team are working hard to process all your responses in detail, and we found some very useful insights. Your feedback is very helpful and valuable in helping us understand the usage of public transport in your local area, and we are working hard with developments and bus operators so that we could promote better public transport links for residents of Hethersett.

We have already contacted the prize winners for this bus survey via email. If you have yet to confirm with us on email, please do so. Congratulations to our winners too!

Your local bus services are the 09 service with H. Semmence
to NNUH or alternatively, the 13A, 13B, 14 and 15 run
through Hethersett and are operated by First Buses.

Fancy trying out the local bus services? Each dwelling can claim 8-weeks free bus travel to Norwich and Wymondham with First Buses.

Your closest bus stops are located throughout Heather Gardens and Kett’s Meadow, along both Harness Maker Way or Coachmaker Way. At the moment, you can catch the 09 service to NNUH from these stops. This service runs every two-hours.

From bus stops just outside of Heather Gardens and Kett’s Meadow, you can find more frequent services into Norwich and Wymondham. Bus stops for these services can be found in nearby Churchfields near to Deacon Drive.

Buses in Norwich can be a great alternative to driving due to the level of traffic congestion, providing you with a stress-free journey and extra time as someone else is in charge of the driving!

If you’re catching the bus to Norwich, you can hop off at Cringleford Interchange (for more frequent services to NNUH), St. Stephens Street, Castle Meadow, Anglia Square (13A and 13B only) and Norwich Train Station (14 and 15 only).
